Every Thursday, Maniq restaurant comes alive with traditional dance, music, and the flavours of Bali. As performers share stories through movement and a specially prepared menu celebrates local cuisine, the evening becomes an immersive introduction to the island’s cultural heritage.

Located in Maniktawang village, Tampaksiring, Bambootel Sawah View connects guests with Balinese culture through experiences shaped by the local community, surrounding landscapes, and traditions that continue to be part of everyday life. Guests can join guided walks through rice fields and village pathways, where members of the local community share stories of farming, traditions, and daily life. Cultural experiences include canang-making in Balinese attire from 4pm to 5pm daily, Balinese cooking classes using local ingredients, visits to sacred temples, and the Melukat purification ritual. Other experiences include the Maniktawang Ancient Tour, morning water meditation at Mengening Temple (daily at 7am), silver crafting with local artisans, and Balinese cultural evenings at Maniq restaurant featuring traditional food, music, and dance. Each experience is designed to create a deeper connection with the people, places, and traditions that shape this part of Bali.
